Recommended Service / Maintenance Intervals
Before Each Use:
   Breakaway Breaks  —  Battery must be fully charged, connections must be clean.
   Hydraulic Breaks  —  Check gauge for proper vacuum of 18 in. HG.
   Coupler and Hitch or GN Ball  —  Check for cracks, pits, flats. Replace w/ball having GVW. Grease. Check locking device.
   Fifth Wheel and Pin  —  Grease and replace when worn.
   Lights & Signals  —  Check for proper operation. Verify connection is clean & tight.
   Tires  —  Check tire pressure when cold. Inflate as needed.
   Lug Bolts & Hub  —  Check and tighten.

Every 3-6 months:
   Electric Breaks Magnets  —  Inspect for wear and current draw.
   Electric Breaks Controller  —  Check for correct amperage & modulation.
   Rubber Mats & Floor  —  Remove mats and wash both sides and floor.
   Hinges, Doors & Dividers  —  Inspect. Repair or replace damaged, worn or broken parts.
   Roof Vents  —  Clean dirt build-up. Lubricate hinges.
   Windows  —  Clean dirt build-up. Lubricate window slides.
   Tires  —  Inspect treads & sidewalls thoroughly. Replace tire when treads are worn or a sidewall has a bulge.

Every year or 12,000 miles:
   Axle Attachment Bolts  —  Check by Featherlite dealer.
   Breaks  —  Check for scoring and wear, verify operation.
   Breaks Master Cylinder  —  Check fluid level & replenish. Check for leaks/sticking.
   Break Lines  —  Inspect for cracks, leaks & kinks.
   Jack, Drop Leg  —  Grease gears at top.
   Frame Members  —  Inspect all frame members, bolts & rivets. Repair or replace damaged worn or broken parts.
   Welds  —  Inspect all welds. Repair as needed.
   Slide-out  —  Clean dirt build-up. Lubricate slides, shafts and gear.
   Sealed Bearings  —  Check for free running/replace (not serviceable).
   Unsealed Bearings  —  Disassemble. Inspect. Assemble and repack.
   Rims  —  Inspect for cracks & dents. Replace as needed.
